Jacksonville vet, veterinarian in Jacksonville, FL

Kelly - I have been here for 4 years and I know all of you very well. I am a jane of all trades and work both at the front desk and as a nurse in the back. I am a certified nutrition consultant for both Purina and Hills and I am happy to do nutrition consults for you at any time.





Melissa - I am the main surgery person. When your kids come in for surgery, they will be in my capable hands. I have been here for 8 years and in the veterinary field for over 18 years. I attended veterinary assistant school in St Pete.

Alex - I graduated from Penn State with a degree in animal bioscience. I wanted to be warm - so here I am in sunny Florida. While I am new to veterinary medicine - so far I love it. Tabitha - I am the newest addition to Parkway, but not to veterinary medicine. I have been doing this a long time and I am very proud to say I LOVE MY JOB. I am one of the lucky people who actually enjoy getting up for work in the morning. My area of interest is dog behavior and I have done a fair amount of training. Ask me - I can help.





Denise - I am usually the one sitting behind the front desk or answering the phones. I am also a certified veterinary dental technician, so I will be helping if any of your pets have their teeth cleaned. Talk to you soon!

Adam - I have over 7 years veterinary experience. I have worked general practice, emergency and referral clinics. I actually just graduated human nursing school (I did my clinicals with Julie at Mayo Clinic) and realized how much I love veterinary medicine. I am excited to meet you. adam@parkwayanimaljax.com

Polly - You could say I am new to veterinary medicine because this is my first job ever and I have only been here 6 months, but I have grown up in vet med, as well as in Parkway. Dr. VanCleve is my mom and Dr Weldon is my dad. I know I want to be a vet when I grow up, just like my patents.

Julie I have been a veterinary nurse for 21 years. I am also a human nurse at Mayo Clinic in the ICU. At Parkway, I can been seen doing a little bit of everything from management, to nursing care to working on the roof! During my many years in veterinary, I have done everything from feline only, to emergency to several new practice start ups. I was one of the first in the country to become a Certified Veterinary Dental Technician. I am mostly in the background, but feel free to ask me any questions you may have regarding your pet's health, or even your own! I do not have a picture - because I think this one shows my best side!
